THE NEXT FULL COUNCIL MEETING OF CHAPEL EN LE FRITH PARISH COUNCIL

WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY10TH FEBRUARY 2026 AT 7PM IN THE TOWN HALL

MEMBERS OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND

AGENDA

The business to be transacted will be as follows:

1.    7pm - To receive any apologies for absence

2.    To make any Declarations of Interest

3.    To consider any applications for Dispensations

4.    To determine which items, if any, from the agenda should be taken with the public excluded. If the Parish Council decides to exclude the public, it will be necessary to pass a resolution in the following terms: “to consider a resolution under the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings Act 1960) s1 to exclude members    of the press and public in order to discuss item number ...” 

This item will then be discussed with the press and public excluded.'

5.    To agree any variations of order of business

6.    7.05pm - (if police officers attend) To consider any Police matters

7.    7.10pm - Public Participation – up to 10 minutes will be made available for members of the public to raise matters relevant to the business of the Parish Council:

a.    Members of the general public

b.    County and Borough councillors

8.    7.20pm - To approve the minutes of the Full Council meeting held on 13^th January 2026 and the Extraordinary Meeting held on 29^th January 2026.

9.    7.25pm Chairs Report

10.  7.35pm - To consider Planning Applications notified to the Parish Council – see below

11.  7.40pm - To consider any Planning Appeals notified to the Parish Council

12.  7.45pm - To comment on any Planning Decision Notices  

13.  7.50pm – To consider the report received from the Planning Consultant regarding the Parish Council’s response to the Crossings Road Planning Application

14.  8.00pm - Finance:

(a)  To authorise the schedule of accounts presented for payment  

(b)  To note the actual year-to-date income and expenditure against budget

15.  8.10pm - Update regarding the Motion from Councillor Gilfillan that the Council Implements a triage system for Councillor queries
