The next meeting of the Council, to be held at 7.00pm on Tuesday 3^rd June 2025 in Chapel-en-le-Frith Town Hall.

 The business to be transacted will be as follows:

 1.      To receive any apologies for absence

 2.      To make any Declarations of Interest

 3.      To consider any applications for Dispensations

 4.      To determine which items, if any, from the agenda should be taken with the public excluded. If the Parish Council decides to exclude the public, it will be necessary to pass a resolution in the following terms: “to consider a resolution under the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings Act 1960) s1 to exclude members    of the press and public in order to discuss item number ...”  This item will then be discussed with the press and public excluded.'

5.      To agree any variations of order of business

6.      (if police officers attend) To consider any Police matters

7.      Public Participation – up to 10 minutes will be made available for members of the public to raise

matters relevant to the business of the Parish Council:

(a)    Members of the general public

(b)   County and Borough councillors

8.      To approve the minutes of the Full Council meetings held on 6th May 2025

9.      To consider a presentation by Mellor Homes Ltd on a proposed housing scheme on the land at Miry Meadow.

25/403 Standardisation of the flower beds in Derbyshire stone including plaque acknowledging the bequest

26/018 Completion of Councillor Skills Audit

12.   To consider Planning Applications notified to the Parish Council

13.  To consider any Planning Appeals notified to the Parish Council

14.  To comment on any Planning Decision Notices  

15.  To receive any reports from Committees/working groups (except if the issue is elsewhere on agenda):

(a)    Regeneration & Communications Committee

-          Motion - To consider the creation of an Allotment Working Group

-          Motion - To consider raising Dove Holes allotment annual rent to the same level as the other allotments.

-          Motion - to consider repairs/replacement of Dove Holes play area gates.

(b)   Finance & Town Hall Committee

(c)     Personnel Committee

16.   To appoint members to Committees/Working Groups

17.  Finance:

(a)    To authorise the schedule of accounts presented for payment  

(b)   To note the year to date income and expenditure schedule

(c)    To receive the Internal Auditor’s report for FY2024/25

(d)   To approve the Council’s FY2024/25 governance statement

(e)   To approve the Council’s FY2024/25 accounting statement

(f)     To appoint an internal auditor for 2025/26

18.  To consider a motion from Councillor Adshead that the Council will write to the companies dealing with the fibre rollout in the Town and ask for updates and a timeline for the conversion to Fibre throughout the Parish.

19.  Explanation of co-option procedure.

20.  To note any court case matters.

21.  To confirm the dates for Parish Council meetings until the next Annual Meeting.
